Position Purpose

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a customer service approach to the University community
- Complete daily carpark checklist
- Stakeholder liaison, including information stalls at University of Wollongong events
- Maintain ticket machines and boom gates
- Adjust parking guidance system
- Perform security duties when required
- Parking enforcement
- Perform traffic control when required
- Respond to machine faults, ticket/coin jams, address minor maintenance issues, or any operational issues experienced by customers.
- Other tasks as required
Qualification
Mandatory
- Current and applicable NSW 1A & 1C Security license in accordance with the Security Industry Act and associated Regulations of the state or territory you work.
- Current NSW First Aid Certification.
- Current full NSW Driver Licence.
- National Police check
- Current traffic control certification
- 1 + years experience in a similar role.
- Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent Australian resident or hold a visa that entitles you to work in Australia (other than a student or working holiday visa)
- Ability to pass additional security clearances.
- Ability to pass a medical.
- Working with Children Check – UOW Specific.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role would be highly desirable
