Council is seeking a hardworking and motivated Parks and Gardens Labourer to join our Parks & Water Operations team within our Open Space department.
About the role:
Not limited to the below, an average day may see you:
- Mowing and maintaining community lawns & passive open space parks
- Clearing litter and debris
- Performing general maintenance tasks and manual excavation as directed
- Operating and maintaining equipment and tools such as lawn mowers (push and ride-on) edgers, whipper-snippers and other small plan machinery
About the person:
We seek individuals who have:
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A current Driver’s Licence (MR Licence preferred)
- WorkCover accredited Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Previous experience in a similar position and a Chemical Users Certificate will be highly regarded.
What’s on offer
We are offering a remuneration between $52,664.52 - $60,514.06 per annum + Allowance + Super.
