Parks and Gardens Supervisor

About the Role

In this role, you'll oversee high-profile commercial sites, along with premium residential and strata projects in the Northern Beaches and Ryde. Responsibilities include supervising on-site activities, implementing safe work practices, and fostering a safety culture within the team. Your role extends to participating in performance reviews, proactively addressing health and safety concerns, and engaging in toolbox meetings for safety updates.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the team's on-site activities to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of safe work practices, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
• Participating in performance reviews to provide feedback and support the professional growth of team members.
• Proactively raising any workplace health and safety (WHS) issues to the State Manager or WHS Advisor for timely resolution.
• Actively participating in scheduled toolbox meetings to discuss safety updates, share insights, and address concerns.
• Conduct regular WHS inspections to identify potential hazards and promptly report findings to relevant stakeholders.

About You

• Certificate in Horticulture and industry experience
• Current and valid manual driver's licence
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working
• Well presented with excellent communication skills
• Passion for providing high-level customer service
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safe work practice
