SalaryCouncil currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated experienced Maintenance Labourer to join our Parks and Open Spaces Team
Compulsory qualifications:
- C class drivers licence
- General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) White Card (or equivalent).
You will be highly regarded if you have experience in:
- Demonstrated experience performing general maintenance duties including but not limited to:
- Fix/installation of play equipment, fences, gates and park furniture
- General Building Maintenance e.g. door locks, water taps, door hinges, paint over graffiti
- Fix/reinstall vandalised public furniture such as signs, solar lights, toilet furniture.
- Demonstrated experience in battery/electric tools and the use of
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment under minimal supervision.
- Basic literacy, numeracy and oral communication skills.
- Basic technology skills
- Good understanding of and commitment to EEO and WHS principles and practices.
