About Us

We are WorkSafe Connect, a Registered Training Organisation with a mission to deliver safety training outcomes that make an impact beyond the classroom. We believe that safety and education should never be a box ticking exercise and as a team we have a relentless focus on achieving outcomes that matter.

For over 15 years we have partnered with businesses and individuals in the resources, construction, manufacturing and government sectors with a focus on positive outcomes from training design through to delivery. 

With facilities in Townsville and Brisbane, we are able to offer a combination of training courses to the public along with customised training services at our clients' sites across Queensland.

About the role

We are a small team looking to find someone for a part-time role in our Brisbane office (in Salisbury) - we are flexible however require a minimum of 3 days a week; minimum 5 hours per day and a 6.30am start.

The role includes the following tasks:

Customer Service & Reception Duties

  • Answering phone calls and diligently following up relevant client queries
  • Transferring of phone calls as appropriate
  • Understanding the business and courses we offer so can confidently answer questions and identify opportunities 
  • Welcoming and assisting students prior to course commencing

Training Administration

  • Printing and preparation of course materials
  • Audit completed course materials against a checklist
  • Accurately and diligently enter data into the student management system and result student outcomes
  • Scan and archive course materials
  • Assist with gathering and review of evidence for funded programs
  • Other administrative support as required

Facilities

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the premises
  • Procurement of supplies for the daily running of the facility
  • Using company car to check the mail and pick up resources / consumables needed for training

The role would suit someone with the following attributes:

  • Previous Customer Service experience
  • A helpful and friendly manner
  • Previous administration and data entry experience
  • Time management and prioritisation skills so can manage a variety of tasks and competing deadlines
  • An eye for accuracy and detail
  • Can operate effectively in a small team environment
  • Drivers licence essential
