Salute for Service is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Grants and Tender Coordinator/Business Improvement Specialist. This role presents an exciting opportunity to significantly impact the lives of veterans through a growing not-for-profit organization.
As a Grants and Tender Writer improvement Specialist you will play a crucial role in identifying available grants and tenders, evaluating eligibility criteria, shortlisting opportunities, and preparing tender documentation. There will also be ad-hoc administrative tasks assigned as a requirement of this role. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in the veteran community.
Responsibilities:
- Industry Research – conduct research to identify grants and tenders relevant to the assigned industry (eg DVA, Health Care, Education and Training).
- Eligibility Evaluation – assess the eligibility criteria for each grant or tender to determine suitability for the organisation’s objectives and capabilities.
- Shortlisting – collaborate with the team to shortlist the most promising grants and tenders based on alignment with organization goals, feasibility and potential impact.
- Tender Finalisation – work closely with stakeholders to finalise the selection of grants or tenders to pursue, considering resource availability, project scope and strategic priorities.
- Tender Documentation - prepare comprehensive documentation for selected grants or tenders, including proposals, budgets and supporting materials, adhering to all submission requirements and deadlines.
- Administration – reporting to the General Manager, this position will also be called on for administrative tasks from time to time.
Requirements:
- Military, Defence sector or veteran organization experience – highly regarded.
- Experience researching, evaluating and writing Tender and Grant applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
