Job description

Sydney Building Management & Projects provides facilities management services to the greater Sydney area. 

We are hiring a permanent part-time Concierge role for one of our high-end apartment buildings in the bubbling Potts Point precinct. 

Hours are 8:00pm to 12.00pm Monday to Friday. No weekend work! 
There is also potential for additional shifts across our wider Concierge portfolio.

Your previous experience in Reception, Concierge or other Front Of House role and exceptional presentation and customer service skills will see you succeed in this role. You will understand what is required to be a concierge who exceeds expectations in presentation, communication and resident assistance. 

We're looking for someone who can commit to providing a reliable long term relationship with the building and the residents who live there!

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working at a high-end residential apartment building where privacy, security and discretion is important. Working at the concierge desk you will be the face of the building greeting residents and guests, and providing assistance where required.

You will be working closely with the Building Management team, assisting in the supervision of building contractors, following up on maintenance works, assisting with invoicing and ensuring compliance and site procedures are followed. You will carry out patrols of the building to ensure it is secure, is clean and tidy, and maintained to the highest standard.

Must Have's

  • Right to work in Australia;
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills both written and verbally;
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn various systems; and
  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience.

More About The Role

  • Permanent Part-time role - 20 hours a week.
  • Potential for additional shifts across our portfolio.
  • Potts Point location.
  • Hourly rate of $27.83 + Super + penalties. 
  • Training and ongoing development will be provided.
  • Would suit an experienced concierge or front of house professional with experience in the real estate or hospitality industry.
