We have an exciting opportunity for a well presented and experienced XERO/ MYOB QuickBooks Senior Bookkeeper to join our small friendly, professional team on Part Time basis.
The successful applicant will be a key member of the firm reporting to the Business Development Manager & the Managing Partner.
This is an experienced Bookkeeper role with bookkeeping skills in a small practice environment, along with the added responsibility of ensuring the clients are happy.
Requirements:
- Accounting firm experience, with a good working knowledge of Xero. MYOB and QuickBooks experience will be desirable. Otherwise cv will not be considered.
- Atleast 2.5 years experience.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Multi-tasking and problem solving abilities
- A "can do" attitude and the ability to think outside the square
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - Attention to detail
- Self-motivated, reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly
- Experience with accounting firm will be a distinct advantage
Tasks Include:
- Working on Accounting software - XERO
- Knowledge of Ms Office needed (Excel & Outlook).
- Processing Payroll, BAS & IAS preparation and liaising with the Managing Director
- Assisting in preparing financial information/reports for Accountants, on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Month end and Year end processing, reconciliations, payroll and data entry of required journals
- Ad-hoc work for the team.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with potential conflicting deadlines.
- Mobility to a client's workplace if needed.
- Worked on Add-ons such WorkFlow Max, Dext, Hubdoc, Deputy & more.
- MYOB and QuickBooks knowledge is desirable.
- For the right candidate their is an opportunity to step up as a Practice Manager in future.
Ability to commence immediately would be an advantage.
Part time position based in Stirling WA 6021. Flexible hours & days. 14 -20 hours.
