Weel is an Australian-founded fintech company that provides software to help businesses streamline and control company-wide spending without holding their team back. Finance teams use Weel to instantly issue virtual corporate cards, proactively control spending and automate their expense reporting. We're Australia's leading spend management solution.
We love our face to face time and operate in a hybrid environment, with 3 days a week of working from the office (in a central Sydney CBD location).
Your impact
As a Partner Channel Lead at Weel, you will have a unique opportunity to play a critical role in driving growth and delivering value to our customers. You will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives and leading the Partner Manager team whilst achieving individual revenue quotas.
You will represent our brand and lead Accountant and Bookkeeper (AB) partner relationships to drive key revenue goals for Weel. You will identify, build, nurture and grow the Accounting and Bookkeeper channel with strong focus on significantly increasing our Australian market share via collaboration with partners.
A day in the life...
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, lead analysis and develop and communicate final recommendations for growing partner relationships
Coach and manage the Partner Managers to meet key Sales KPIs, to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
Continuously optimise existing sales processes to maximise referral revenue, and unlock efficiency for partner managers
Efficiently manage your territory by categorising and prioritising both new and existing accounting and bookkeeping partners
Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, strategic partnerships and management activities
Collaborate with partners to identify, implement, and manage new business opportunities and develop strategic plans for deals that align with our company's vision
Act as the face of Weel by attending industry roadshows and events encouraging partner attendance at Weel events to help create a vibrant partner community
Stay up-to-date with Weel's features and functionality through regular training and update webinars
Skills you'll bring along
Experience selling into accounting and bookkeeping Partner Channels
At least 2 years of leadership experience which allows you to create a high-performing team and engaged culture
Proven success in developing and implementing sales strategies and processes within the accounting and bookkeeping Partner ChannelExceptional communication skills, with the ability to build genuine rapport with partners over the phone, video, and in-person
Strong attention to detail and a talent for follow-up, ensuring that no opportunity is missed when building and maintaining partner relationships
A consultative approach to sales, with a proven ability to guide and educate partners to recognise and achieve their business goals
Self-motivated and proactive, with a process-driven mindset and a hunger for taking ownership and managing your book of business
An interest in the emerging online accounting market, with a solid understanding of database management
A passion for delivering results through a consultative, customer-centric approach, and a commitment to building lasting relationships with partners
Bonus Points
Experience within public practice accounting firms and/ or in the Xero app ecosystem
You were an accountant in your previous life and have strong networks across the industry
Experience creating and attending industry events to support revenue goals
