Job Summary:
As the Partnerships Coordinator at Women in Technology WA, you will be crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with over 40 sponsors, including corporations, government and the education sector. This position requires proactive engagement, effective communication, and excellent organisational skills. You will manage the sponsor engagement lifecycle, from initial outreach to contract administration and account management, and ensure sponsors' active participation in WiTWA events.
The WiTWA Volunteer and Delivery team has ambitious goals and key deliverables for 2024. Your contribution to the WiTWA Delivery team will directly impact WA's STEM and technology landscape. We are fortunate enough to have the long-term support of wonderful organisations - we are looking for someone passionately enthusiastic about WiTWA's mission to ensure we keep those organisations informed, engaged and connected to that mission.
Key Responsibilities:Proactive Engagement:
- Respond to all sponsor enquiries in a timely manner.
- Be confident in asking questions to identify the right level of engagement with WiTWA for each organisation.
- Initiate regular communication with prospective sponsors through calls, emails, and meetings.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership growth.
- Utilise HubSpot to track communication and engagement.
- Prepare and send partnership contracts to sponsors using DocuSign
- Organise and maintain contract records in G-Drive
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing sponsors, promptly addressing their needs and inquiries.
- Monitor sponsor satisfaction and seek feedback for continuous improvement.
Event Engagement:
- Collaborate with sponsors to maximise their involvement in WiTWA events, which include our monthly evening events – WiTWA 101s, WiTWA TechXchanges – and our annual Conference and Awards held in November.
- Coordinate sponsor participation in events, ensuring a positive and impactful experience.
- Collaborate with key sponsors to maximise their involvement in WiTWA's Techtrails program. The Techtrails program is a 1-day school incursion and will require the successful candidate to travel to both metro and regional WA to attend these incursions and manage sponsor engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of sponsor interactions, agreements, and commitments.
- Generate regular reports on sponsor engagement and provide updates to the WiTWA leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in partnership development, account management, or a similar role.
- Confidence in telephone and in-person communication
- Proactive communicator who enjoys speaking with people to identify client needs and meet those needs.
- Ability to understand and communicate partnership options clearly and effectively.
- Ability to influence decisions and outcomes.
- Willingness to travel regionally when required.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with the technology industry and commitment to promoting diversity in STEM.
