Central Regional TAFE is responsible for delivering customer focused, industry aligned training and pathways to higher education to build a skilled, productive and employment ready workforce. We deliver 185 courses to 10,000 students each year in the Mid West region - Geraldton, Batavia Coast Maritime Institute and Technology Park, the Gascoyne region - Carnarvon and Exmouth, the Goldfields region – Kalgoorlie and the Wheatbelt region - Northam, Merredin and Moora.

About the roleThe Coordinator Business Partnerships and International identifies new partnership opportunities to support international student intakes and researches the viability of these opportunities in consultation with the Strategic Partnerships, Student Support and TAFE International Western Australia (TIWA) teams. The position establishes, maintains and co-ordinates specific Business Partnerships and works collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and progress new opportunities which support the growth of international education in Western Australia.
The position specifically identifies employment and accommodation opportunities for international students at the College.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in:
- negotiating and managing partnership arrangements with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes and meet strategic objectives.
- communicating, presenting and negotiating in discussions with a diverse range of clients.
- thinking analytically, applying a solution focussed approach and working in a role with multiple deliverables.
- organisational problem solving, with the ability to identify issues and recommend implement appropriate strategies.
- working collaboratively across business areas and within a small team autonomously.
