Avoca Beach Hotel is located in Avoca Beach on the NSW Central Coast. Set on 15 acres of natural bushland and native gardens, just two kilometres from popular Avoca Beach. The Hotel consists of Saltwater Bar & Bistro, Sports Bar, and Gaming/ Tab facilities and Treetops Cafe. The property includes 78 rooms, with accommodation options in both self-contained and motel style rooms. Our Event and Conference Centre consists of a variety of spaces suitable for Weddings, Corporate meetings and Special Occasions.
We are currently seeking a Passionate Chef or 1st or 2nd year apprentice to join the team. If you love food, love being a part of a team, love creating a memorable customer experience and have the energy and a desire to impress, we would like to hear from you.
The Role
You are a valuable member of a small but successful and passionate kitchen team. You will ensure our food is fresh, delicious, and made with care consistently and quickly. It's your role to continue to build our reputation as offering some of the best value for money food on the coast. In the role, you will have the opportunity to work across our kitchens in Saltwater Bar & Bistro, Treetops Cafe and Events. You will share skills and techniques across aspects of kitchen operations to develop both yourself and our team.
The position consists of a five day roster working a combination of days, and nights, including work weekends and public holidays a must.

- A genuine love of food, a desire to continue to learn and explore, and for sharing knowledge with others
- Proven strong background and passion for customer service is desirable
