At Petit ELJ Coffs Harbour, as our inspiring Educational Leader, you will play a significant role in influencing and promoting positive outcomes for children and families.

You understand the importance of play-based child-led learning and have a solid understanding of pedagogy and programming. You are experienced working in Early Childhood Education & Care at Lead Educator-Educational Leader level who is knowledgeable in all areas of the National Quality Standards, particularly around leadership. You are a calm and collaborative leader who has a genuine desire to lift people up and inspire, creating an environment for reflective practice. You thoroughly enjoy fostering both family partnerships and community engagement where children are at the forefront of everything you do inspired by higher outcomes and continuous improvement.

As an Educational Leader at Petit ELJ, you will receive dedicated non-contact time for preparation, in addition to extra above-award non-contact hours to support each of our Lead Educators in refining their programming, curriculum and practices. You will be fully supported by our centre leadership team who has created a very warm and welcoming environment and an abundance of support from our Education & Practice Consultant that will regularly visit and be available online. We host an annual Educational Leadership conference as well as regular Educational Leadership networking meets where you will be supported by your peers. This provides a wonderful experience to learn from other educational talent working in Early Childhood education and care developing your own knowledge and practices.

  • All Qualified Certificate III ECEC Educators minimum 8% AA
  • Studying Towards Diploma Assistants minimum 9% AA
  • Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Assistants minimum 10% AA
  • Offered across both Permanent Part-Time & Full-Time Arrangements.

We additionally offer Individual Flexibility Arrangements PLUS additional allowances like Full-Time Allowance for team members who offer our children continuity of care, Responsible Person Allowance when performing the role, and Kindy ECT Allowances to recognise the complexity associated with leading these programs.
