- Using a range of specialist modelling tools to input into the various design elements of projects, including thermal, energy, water and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling
- Gathering data and advising clients on Green Star assessments
- Solar PV layout and financial evaluation
- Energy, water, waste and GHG emission project cost benefit analysis
- Climate change risk analysis
- Modelling and advice with respect to compliance with NCC Section J compliance
- Report writing for advisory projects as well the reporting of findings from modelling undertaken.
- Assuming responsibility for the results of simple projects or sections of projects.
- Support business development activities by developing a scope of work or pricing
- MUST have relevant professional experience coupled with a Degree in Engineering, leading to membership of IE Australia or equivalent.
- Associate Diploma, Diploma, Degree or work based experience.
- General understanding of one discipline in building services.
- Problem solving/analytical skills.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to independently use basic theoretical knowledge of Engineering principles to analyse, interpret and conclude on standard matters or decisions.
- Aware of WSP's organisational capability.
- Aware of relevant systems, procedures and practices.
- Aware of organisational approach to risk management, ethics and safety.
