What we are looking for
- Experience working in a similar role for 3+ years
- Excellent knowledge of food and produce
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
- Have full Australian working rights
- Availability to work night shifts
Key duties include
- Work with the Pastry team to maintain consistency in their section and in the food presentation.
- Provide guidance and support to junior chefs
- Work calmly and professionally with a large and diverse team.
Key Selection Criteria
- Previous experience at a similar level in a premium dining or hatted venue.
- Passion and motivation for the role.
- Strong product knowledge
- Exceptional grooming standards and strong attention to detail essential.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster.

Located on Sydney harbour in the dress circle of Crown Sydney, Woodcut provides Sydneysiders with a unique dining experience that celebrates Australian produce and cooking with wood, charcoal and steam.
The dining room at Woodcut is anchored by four open kitchens, each centred on their own cooking method and three with their own Kitchen Counter seats where guests have a front row seat to “the show”. Woodcut can seat up to 260 guests and has two Private Dining Rooms, an extensive outdoor terrace with stunning harbour views as well as Hickory Bar which can accommodate 80 guests.
