Creative Crusts are Brisbane's premium supplier of wholesale bread, cakes and pastry and we are looking for a Pastrycook Pie maker Super Star to join our team.
The successful applicant will be able to work hands on at our well equipped pastry production kitchen producing a range of high quality traditional and gourmet pies, family pies, sausage rolls, and pasties.
Applicants must hold Certificate 3 in Baking/Pastrycooking, commercial cookery, or have a minimum of 5 years baking experience. The ability to work with, and train apprentices is critical to this role. Training with the existing pie maker will be provided to help bring the successful candidate up to speed on the position requirements.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a knowledge and experience of pastry making, temperature control, food hygiene, pastry lamination, and baking processes. Stock control and ordering is also a responsibility of this role. It is critical that applicants show a value of the above and be able to teach, and monitor the training of such with our apprentices.
Our products are made using scratch method baking and we use only hand raised and selected Grass Fed Beef and Lamb from QLD’s Maranoa region.
This is a Monday to Friday position, shift times are generally from 6am - 3pm.
The ideal candidate for this position would be someone looking for a long term secure position, and has pride and passion for producing consistent quality pastry, and can show through either demonstration or photos their abilities to meet our requirements.
