- Fixed term 12 months (with possible extension) – 80 hours per fortnight with monthly paid day off

The Parkville Precinct has a strong history of collaboration, with each health service taking responsibility for Precinct-wide reforms. The Royal Melbourne Hospital is the lead site for the PNW Program, maintaining continued close relationships with the hospitals throughout the Program.
Pathology services in the Precinct provide essential services for patients and insightful and timely advice for clinicians. The vision of the PNW Program is to provide more equitable access to larger, better equipped pathology services and specialised testing expertise, helping more patients to benefit from research-driven outcomes.
We are looking for a Corporate Services Project Manager to lead the delivery of the PNW Corporate Support model.
Your new role:
- Lead the corporate transition of the three Pathology Services to a single centralised model for the new Pathology Network entity.
- Create and maintain the project plan and budget for all activities relating to the establishment and delivery of the PNW Corporate Services across all corporate workstreams (i.e. Finance, Procurement, HR and Payroll, ICT).
- Drive and oversee timely delivery of all key project deliverables and milestones.
- Monitor risk and issues - escalate anything outside of agreed tolerances in a timely manner.
- You have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional/business experience in Project Management.
- You bring extensive experience in project management and implementation, including proven capacity to develop and implement complex strategic initiatives, developing and monitoring project plans, managing change, performance and reporting, issue and risk management, and managing budgets?.
- You demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Corporate Services functions and systems (e.g., HR, Payroll, ICT, Finance, Medical Workforce, Procurement).
- You have excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills with experience engaging, collaborating, and influencing key stakeholders and customers to achieve optimal project outcomes.
