About the Role
As part of the Executive Team, this is a critical role in protecting and advancing the interests of Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health and fostering a strong values-based culture. You will lead opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency and grow the organisation’s resources and capabilities at every opportunity. It is essential that the role has a strong focus on the internal environment and an eye to broader external trends which may impact the organisation or its strategy.
You will lead the organisation’s People and Culture functions and oversee the Information Technology team, while also leading the management and development of all facilities, and ensuring that quality, safety, risk management, and compliance is upheld to exceptional standards. This includes taking on the role and tasks of Company Secretary and leading the Client Experience team (admin/front desk staff).
You will monitor and regularly review all areas of responsibility and where required report to other Executives, relevant funding bodies, and the Board of Directors on major issues and/or outcomes. You will be primarily based at the Sunbury office, with occasional travel to the Kyneton and Romsey sites.
About You
- Highly experienced in the field of human resource management and leading People and Culture teams. Additional experience in leading teams across Corporate Services, ICT or business administration will be highly regarded, but not essential
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, planning and problem solving skills – including ability to contribute to the strategic decision making of an Executive Team
- Demonstrated people management and development skills including role design, performance development, mentoring, coaching and management, conflict resolution and communication
- Well developed project management, program/service development, planning and evaluation skills and experience
- Demonstrated commitment to the highest level of ethical conduct and the values of SCCH

- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline is preferred or significant equivalent work experience
