Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. View our for information on how to respond to criteria and . * Relevant tertiary health qualifications and /or relevant equivalent management experience within a hospital environment and/or NSW Public Health System.

  • Demonstrated highly developed written and verbal communication, interpersonal, leadership and communication skills with an ability to negotiate and communicate with a range of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of relevant legislation and policy including patient rights and responsibilities, understanding of NSW Health Frontline Complaint Handling Guidelines.
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in addressing complaints within a health care setting including writing letters, briefs and skills acting as a patient advocate to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated high level of ability and experience to manage complex patient feedback.
  • Demonstrated experience developing education in consumer engagement and quality improvement to empower staff to improve the consumer experience and an understanding of adult learning principles for a wide range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, motivation, self-direction, initiative, and an ability to work across disciplines to achieve positive outcomes within tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in using electronic information and management systems such as but not limited to Microsoft Office Products, HPE Content Manager, IMS+ and electronic medical records.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
