Our client, a well established group surgical specialist practice (with 17 Surgeons) located along Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill is actively seeking an experienced Practice Manager seeking to take the next step in their career. Supported by a well-structured administration team across multiple site locations covering South East Queensland the team culture is collaborative, with a patient care focus, creating a positive and supportive workplace environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to take on a new position of Patient Services Manager.
This is a full time permanent position working 38 hours a week (Monday to Friday).
Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Direct leadership and supervision of the Patient Services Team, working closely with the Clinical Manager and reporting directly to the General Manager
Coordination of back office administration services for the practice, including incoming telephone calls, booking patient appointments, preparation and running of patient clinics, surgical quotes and surgical bookings, patient billing and receipting within the practice guidelines
Quality control of documentation and service delivery
Training and skills assessment as well an ongoing maintenance of practice policies and procedures
Preparing and managing staff rosters and timetabling for clinicians and the supporting administration team
Ensuring an overall day to day contribution to the ongoing growth and success of every day practice operations.
Ideally, to succeed in a position such as this, you will have:
At least 5 years Senior Medical Secretarial and Practice Management experience within a surgical specialist practice
A proven track record in managing day to day operational and HR needs
Prior experience using Genie software (or similar)
A Diploma of Practice Management or similar qualifications will be highly regarded
A positive, professional and patient focused attitude towards your career within the medical/healthcare setting.
Additional benefits and salary:
A competitive salary within the range of $75,000 to $85,000 per annum + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
