Patient Service Officer – Calvary North Adelaide Hospital

About the role
We have several opportunities available for customer focused applicants to join our team in Patient Services working across various areas of the hospital including Reception, Day Ward and our Consulting Suite. The successful candidate will be flexible with working hours with the ability to work across a span of hours between 6am-10pm daily, will have proven organisational skills, exceptional time management with the ability to prioritise own workload.
Your main duties will include:
- Patient admissions and discharges
- Data Entry using IPM software
- Consulting Rooms Administration Support
- General reception and switchboard duties
- Health fund eligibility checks
- Scanning, photocopying, collation and preparation of case notes
Skills and experience:
- Previous administrative experience working in a health care setting
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
