Form of workGlenunga Village and Glenunga Medical Centre are looking for an efficient,dedicated, committed and professional individual to join our team as the Patient Services Officer. The Patient Services Officer provides administrative and general support to staff, patients and clinicians to ensure that a high quality, professional and efficient administration service is consistently provided to patients and all stakeholders. This is a casual position where flexibility with working days is required. There is however an option for a full time or part time permanent position.
Reporting to the Practice Manager and working as part of the NEW Medical Centre Glenunga VILLAGE team, this position will require the individual to have a:
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Proven experience to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare, Workcover, Insurance schedules
- Ability to use clinical administration systems, as well as Microsoft Office software
- Collaborative approach in working with the wider Administration and clinical team
- ability in an administrative role within a busy, patient focused environment
- Fully vaccinated (COVID)
Uniform (Shirts) is provided and free onsite parking is available.
