About the Opportunity
Reporting to the External Transport Team Leader you will be responsible for providing an efficient, safe, and caring transportation service for eligible patients and their carers’. Delivering an effective, on time, reliable and understanding External Transport Service.
Our Service operates Monday to Friday 6:30am to 6:30pm, Saturday & Sunday 7:00am to 5:30pm. Availability across the 7 days is preferred.

What you’ll be doing
As an experienced Patient Transport Officer, you will provide a customer focused and patient centric service. Your ‘can-do’ attitude and positive demeanour will ensure positive outcomes for all patients. You will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment and will be committed to provide a safe and caring environment for all. Your excellent interpersonal skills will allow you to communicate effectively with patients and stakeholders. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do.
About you - your ideal skills & experience
Essential Criteria
• The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
• C Class Driver’s licence with F Class endorsement (or willing to obtain one)
• WA Working with Children Card (or willing to obtain one)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to put people at ease
• Demonstrated experience in a similar position
Highly Desirable Criteria
• Qualifications relevant to the position (Cert III in Health Science, Cert III in Non-Urgent Client Transport, EN, RN or Diploma/Degree in Paramedicine or higher
