As a Payments Project Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination and management of assigned payment (dividend, distributions & interest) and annual tax statement projects, on behalf of clients, security holders and employees.
The Payments Project Officer is responsible for liaising with clients and other business units to ensure the accurate and timely dispatch of all assigned client payments & statement mailings (including annual tax statements)
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage assigned payments & statement mailings, whilst adhering to the payment process procedures and audit requirements.
- Preparation of project documentation.
- Manage the tax statement process as per procedures and audit requirements.
- Work directly with the client service manager (CSM) and client to confirm requirements for each payment.
- Manage a timeline and deliver key milestones as required.
- Provide a high quality of client service at all times.
- Communicate with and manage a variety of stakeholders.
- Coordinate & manage multiple Payment Projects at one time.
- Contribute ideas to improve the payments process.
- Test IT system changes and improvements when required.
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge of ASX listing rules; CHESS procedures & guidelines; and dividend payment process
- Excellent time management & organisational skills including the ability to multitask/prioritise
- Intermediate MS Office skills and willingness to learn in-house systems
