3 Days in office

Your Role
Reporting to the Payment Service Team Leader, the Payment Services Officer role is to ensure that daily banking operational tasks are completed which include, but not limited to: Direct Entry and Member Chequing exception processing, SWIFT processing, Mistaken Payments, Recall of Funds, Traces, NPP investigations, card ordering, card disputes, opening and maintenance of Term Deposits and Business Memberships and accounts Bank/GL accounts reconciliation, member statement validation, member complaint handling are all completed in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy.
What you will be doing?
- Transaction processing: Payments, Cards, Term Deposits, Members
- Dispute Resolution (NPP, Cards, DE, BPAY and Member chequing)
- General Service/Support
- Compliance and Audit (SMR Referrals to FC&F)
- Reporting and Reconciliation
- Quality Assurance achieved and Cash/Journal Processing Errors
- Business Banking
- Deceased Estates
About You
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the below key attributes and experience:
- Intermediate PC and Microsoft Office Skills (ability to use core application such as Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience and knowledge in Card Disputes
- E-Payments code
- AusPayNet Procedures
- Minimum 1 year customer service and/or back office experience
- Working with third parties within the finance/retail banking industry
- Cuscal, Vigil systems knowledge
- Relevant tertiary or industry experience (i.e. Payments, Transactions, Back office Customer Service) - Essential
- Certificate III in Financial Services or higher - Desirable
Probity check
As we are an Authorised Deposit Taking Institution there is a requirement to complete the standard range of Credit, Police and Bankruptcy checks prior to commencement of employment.
