About the role:
The Payroll Analyst will provide support, analysis and advice on Payroll project initiatives, assist with payroll processing and identify opportunities for business process improvement.
- Participate in manual testing and process documentation of payroll systems.
- Conduct analysis of historical pay data and processes to identify and correct errors
- Execute test plans and scenarios for comprehensive functional and technical testing and conduct any re-testing necessary.
- Providing exceptional customer service to all Payroll related queries
- Assist in BAU processing of payroll related tasks such as new starters, terminations, variations, and leave applications
- Identifying opportunities for system & process improvement
About you:
- Experience with payroll parallel testing and processing while identifying areas of improvement and efficiency
- Experience with diverse organisations, dealing with a wide range of Awards, EBAs, pay rules and entitlements
- Experience in a variety of payroll/HR systems (Aurion and Mirus Works beneficial but not essential)
- Intermediate MS Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data
- Knowledge of Modern Awards and other state and industry legislation
- Proof of Vaccination Status as required by Legislation, Health Directives or WMQ Policy throughout employment and prior to commencement.
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy.
