Form of workA well-respected business is seeking a talented Payroll Analyst to join the team on a project basis. This role, focusing on data analysis within the payroll department, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of the payroll processes and ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
This is a 6-8 week project role, best suiting someone who can start immediately.
The Role
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the project will focus on:
- Conducting thorough analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies, errors, and areas for improvement.
- Generate reports and provide insights to management regarding backlog status and potential risks using Excel and financial modelling.
- Assist with streamlining payroll processes and reduce backlog.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Commercial experience in financial analysis, preferably within a payroll or accounting environment.
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with extracting, cleansing and formatting data
- Strong excel & financial modelling skills
