An opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join our highly motivated Payroll Team based in Albury.
The successful person will be responsible for efficiently conducting accurate and timely payroll services for Border Express. This involves providing timely and accurate advice, support and guidance in all areas of payroll to ensure standards are being consistently met. You will be required to work closely with People and Capability to ensure efficiencies are achieved and the payroll process is working at an optimum level to service the business.
Duties
- Process weekly payroll including bonuses for all Border Express employees, ensuring that all processes are accurately followed, and payroll is fully audited.
- Ensure that all Payroll administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes. This includes (and is not limited to) all tasks associated with: HRIS management, employee maintenance, termination and separation, Superannuation, Child Support, Workers Compensation, Salary Continuance, Centrelink, Adhoc Pays, FBT Processing, End of Month Processing, End Of Year Processing, leave requests, quarterly payment summary reconciliations, auditing of information contained within HRIS and taxation
- Liaise with finance with regard to costings, cost centres, salary sacrifice and FBT;
- Provide professional advice, guidance and instruction in relation to all Payroll matters to all levels of the organisation in a timely, clear and concise manner
- Monitor all aspects of Payroll including legislations, standards and codes and guidelines to ensure on-going regulatory compliance;
Skills and Experience
- Experience in a payroll processes and systems (experience with Greentree will be highly regarded);
- Experience in preparing payroll related reports.
- Previous experience processing high level of weekly pays.
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and follow up on anomalies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
