The Role
The Payroll Officer is responsible for the processing of payroll in a way that is accurate and timely, in accordance with legislation, policies and award requirements, as well as supporting employees’ queries related to their entitlements and conditions under the Crown Employees Award.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in payroll administration and working with a computerised payroll and HR information system
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret industrial agreements and employment related legislation.
- Attention to detail, and experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and customer service skills with the ability to maintain professional and respectful relationships with work colleagues and customers and handle a range of payroll enquiries.
