Key Assets Australia (KAA) is a not-for-profit organisation with offices across Australia and we are passionate about the service we deliver to children, young people, families and communities.
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Payroll Coordinator to ensure our staff are paid accurately and on time each pay cycle, and we are compliant with legislative requirements.
Our Payroll Team are based in our Eight Mile Plains office, and this role will be based alongside the team with a hybrid working arrangement with at least 3 days in the office each week.
This is one of two Payroll Coordinator positions that reports to our Senior Payroll Coordinator. This position will play a crucial role in delivering the payroll function for our business.
You will have the support of the Payroll team and also work closely with the People and Culture team to ensure the compliance of all pay related functions to ensure the accurate processing of pays.
You'll also have the opportunity to be involved in some of our bigger People and Culture strategic projects as they come up.
This is a full-time, permanent role with benefits such as salary packaging to increase take home pay and 5 weeks annual leave after 2 years of service.
What the ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 3 years payroll experience
MicrOpay and ConnX experience will be highly regarded.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
A solid understanding of Modern Awards, in particular the SCHADS Award
The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
A passion for people and the ability to provide support and guidance with empathy and understanding.
A high level of computer proficiency in a variety of programs.
