The Opportunity
A great opportunity for an experienced high-level Payroll professional who has worked in finance to join the team immediately. Bring your expertise to this dynamic role while getting valuable experience in the government sector. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll regulations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
About You
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role, managing a payroll team in a large organization
- Relevant Qualifications in Business Administration or related finance/accounting
- Knowledge of local government awards or having worked in local government is highly desired
- Fast learner, Attention to detail, Effective Communicator and able to lead a team
- Experience in using complex software such as Technology One or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is desirable.
