practice.The RoleInternally known as the Accounts Payable and
Payroll Coordinator and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this
position is based in Windsor. This position will supervise and manage the
payroll and accounts payable functions for
Hawkesbury City Council. The position will require an established leader to
drive and deliver an efficient payroll and accounts payable service whilst
ensuring obligations for statutory requirements and Council policies are
upheld. The position is a combination of leading the day to day operations
whilst also identifying and managing strategic improvements.About YouYou will display excellent interpersonal and
organisational skills to effectively engage your team and maintain constructive
and collaborative relationships with all relevant stakeholders. You will act
with integrity, demonstrate accountability, and have sound judgement to balance
commercial, political and community perspectives within a financially
disciplined environment. You will have a continuous improvement mindset and
will be eager to streamline and automate processes.Essential CriteriaDemonstrated
extensive experience running the end-to-end weekly pay run for 500+ team members.Tertiary
qualifications in Finance and/or equivalent, relevant industry experienceDemonstrated
experience in effectively leading, supervising, mentoring, and training staff.Solid
working knowledge of superannuation and Australian Taxation legislationA sound
knowledge and demonstrated experience in the implementation and interpretation
