AddressOne of our clients in a growing and well-known industry is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of our payroll process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and legislation knowledge. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing payroll staff, and implementing process improvements to streamline payroll operations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire payroll process, including payroll preparation, distribution, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to payroll procedures.
- Supervise payroll staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement and maintain payroll software systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Generate payroll-related reports for management and other stakeholders as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in payroll administration, with 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and legislation
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems, such as SAP, Chris21, Preceda, Dayforce etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
