Head office is based in Belmont, Western Australia but we are flexible on location for the right candidate.
Reporting to our Senior Payroll Officer, your day-to-day functions will include, but are not limited to:
- Responding, resolving and escalating payroll queries and matters as appropriate.
- Actioning onboarding, offboarding and payroll related changes
- Assisting with document preparation, maintenance, and recordkeeping
- Assisting with the preparation of payroll reports
- General administrative tasks
This is a permanent role with part-time, family-friendly hours. Ideally 20-25 hours per week.
The Role:
The role will provide pivotal support to the payroll duties including:
- Under the guidance of the Senior Payroll Officer, assist in the processing of 3 complex pay runs each month for 300+ employees.
- End-to-end payroll processing during periods of leave
- Be the first point of contact for all payroll queries, resolving and escalating matters as appropriate.
- Preparing documentation, producing reports, maintaining records and processing changes in payroll and HRIS systems
- Assist with payroll processes, including pay adjustments, terminations, payment, deductions, leave applications, new starters, and post-payroll activities
- General payroll administration duties
The Who:
- Previous payroll experience
- Previous use of payroll systems. We use NetSuite but any of the bigger ERP’s will stand you in good stead.
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office products, in particular Excel spreadsheets are a must.
- Excellent communication skills
- Resilience to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism
- Initiative to analyse and resolve issues
- The ability to work methodically, autonomously and meet strict deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Sense of humour paired with an equally developed sense of pride in your work.
