Position Summary
Bass Coast Health is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our small dynamic team to assist with delivering an efficient and robust fortnightly payroll to 1000+ employees....and growing.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for delivering in all facets of a quality payroll service including fortnightly timecard processing, auditing and issue resolution, responding to a variety of employee pay queries and you will ensure that all salary and other allowance payments are made consistent with the appropriate Industrial Instrument (e.g. Employment Agreements and Awards). Ideally you will have previous experience using SAP and Kronos, or similar payroll software.
You'll need to enjoy digging into the detail, problem solving, interpreting Awards and EBA's and have an exceptional eye for detail. Candidates who are motivated by a willingness to contribute to Bass Coast Health’s growth and culture, while offering continuous procedural improvements will shine.
Requirements of the position are:
- Previous payroll processing experience
- Experience in award and policy interpretation
- Valid Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory vaccination Directions
