THE ROLE:
As the Payroll Officer, you will be at the heart of Payroll and Finance administration, ensuring smooth and efficient payroll processes across multiple departments, including Accounting/Finance, HR, Operations, and Livestock. This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys collaborating with diverse teams and wants to be a key player in a thriving company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AREAS:
Efficient Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payrolls for all employees.
Employee Lifecycle Management: Set up new starters, update employee details, process terminations.
Timekeeping: Process timesheets and verify employee hours.
Reporting: Handle payroll reporting, including entitlements and summaries.
Compliance: Interpret EBAs and Awards according to legislation.
Support: Assist the CFO with accounts preparation, reconciliation, and report preparation.
Data Management: Maintain payroll data, process payments, and ensure accuracy in employee records.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Provide support to Senior Finance Officer and Finance & Administration Officer.
What you will Bring:
Experience: Minimum 4+ years of end-to-end payroll experience.
Knowledge: Familiarity with complex EBAs/Awards and payroll software (MYOB, MicroPay).
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for basic functions and formulas.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail in all tasks.
