AddressAbout the Organisation Randstad Canberra is currently seeking a highly skilled Aurion Payroll officer to join our dynamic team for a 12 month Non ongoing basis, with the possibility of permanency for candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance and alignment with our organisational values. Your new role
As an APS4 or APS5 Payroll Officer, you will be an integral part of our payroll team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. Your role will involve utilising Aurion, a leading payroll system, to manage all payroll functions and provide support to our staff. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process payroll transactions in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Maintain and update employee payroll records in Aurion. Handle payroll queries and provide exceptional customer service to staff. Ensure compliance with taxation, superannuation, and other statutory requirements.
Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and audits. Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements. Support the Payroll Manager and team with various payroll-related tasks and projects.
Who We're Looking For: Proven experience with Aurion payroll system.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and relevant legislation. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have relevant Aurion software experience in Government Department and / or in a similar position. Successful candidates will be offered a 12 months
