The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR/Payroll Officer to contribute to leave liability analysis and management on a contract basis until June 30, 2024.
Leveraging their expertise in HR and finance, the successful candidate will ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

The Role
The APS5 HR & Payroll Officer’s responsibilities include:
- Managing leave liability reporting and analysis
- Providing HR advisory support to staff and management
- Driving process improvement initiatives
- Utilising Aurion software for payroll processing and data management
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
- Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
The ideal person for this role will have:
- Proven experience in HR and/or payroll administration
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks and regulations
- Proficiency in using Aurion or similar HRIS/payroll systems
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimisation
- A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence
$45 - $55/hr + 11% Super
