Payroll Officer - Global Advertising Agency (Part Time)

A Global Advertising Agency is seeking a Payroll Officer to join their finance team on a Part time basis.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Ownership of the payroll function for Permanent, Freelance and Talent.
• Weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll.
• Processing Australian payroll related taxes and legislation.
• Calculating PAYG and income tax.
• Resolving all payroll related queries.
• Processing superannuation.
• Preparing workers compensation.
• Processing of starters, finishers and terminations.
• Journal preparation and review of GL reconciliations.
• Working closely with your payroll & finance team and the wider business. 

Applicants should hold a relevant qualification (TAFE/ Deg) and have 2 – 5 years payroll experience from large international businesses. They should be a self-starter with excellent stakeholder management skills. Working closely with the finance and HR team you will be expected to continuously improve payroll process and procedure as part of your role.
