What you'll do..
- Assist with process payroll, ensuring all employee payments, deductions, and entitlements are calculated correctly when directed by Senior Payroll Officer.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity in payroll systems.
- Prepare and distribute payslips to employees in a timely manner.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Collaborate closely with HR and Finance departments.
- Stay abreast of changes in payroll legislation, taxation requirements, and employment regulations.
- Assist in payroll-related audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support to auditors and EOF processing as needed.
- Management of lost property in accordance with the lost property policy and procedure.
- Providing a high level of customer service for all face to face and phone enquiries.
- Adoc administrational duties as directed.
About you..
- Any related certificate or qualification in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field and proven experience and/or exposure with Payroll tasks or similar administration responsibilities.
- Understanding of payroll processes and legislation, taxation requirements, and employment laws to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Effective organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities within established deadlines.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- High ethical standards.
- You are proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, and in particular Excel.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
