The role & team
Specsavers has a warm, supportive, and friendly Payroll team of seventeen, based in Port Melbourne. This team is part of the wider People & Organisation team of over forty which includes Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and Reception departments.
This is a full time, permanent role reporting to the Payroll Team Leader where you will assist in performing end to end payroll function for 60 stores across Australia, ensuring accurate and timely payments, in accordance with relevant taxation, legislation, awards, and organisational policies and procedures.
- What we are looking for
- Experience in a high-volume payroll environment
- Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Possess a high attention to detail
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer focused
- ADP/Kronos experience is highly desirable but not essential
