Payroll Officer - Product Specialist In Either Astute Or Kronos

Optimal Workforce requires experienced Payroll professionals with extensive experience using Astute Payroll or Kronos to assist with integration and post integration support.

Astute Role: Based in Brookvale (short or long term opportunity)

The following skills and attributes are essential for this role;

• Thorough understanding of the Astute Payroll portal and processing of wages, expenses and invoices
• Strong understanding of rates and rule groups
• Strong understanding of Astute Payroll customisation 
• Extensive Australian Modern award interpretation skills
• A sound understanding of system integration or the ability to quickly learn given your expertise using Astute Payroll operationally
• Excellent attention to detail

Highly regarded is experience with JobAdder ATS (applicant tracking system) and RatesCalc.

Astute Project: Hourly rate and hours per work negotiable based on experience.

Kronos Role: Based in Mascot (3-4mth contract)

The following skills and attributes are essential for this role;

• Thorough understanding of Kronos time and attendance system
• Contribute to process improvement by identifying and delivering payroll and service delivery improvements
• Identify and flag impacts that Payroll/Time & Attendance changes may have on upstream and downstream systems and proactively manage to minimise disruption to BAU processes
• Perform scenario/regression testing and UAT testing to end-to-end processes
• Support the payroll team to ensure systems are capable of processing monthly/fortnightly pay runs
• Support project related data cleansing activities and audits ensuring compliance with legislative requirements for leave accruals, PAYG, superannuation, STP and payroll tax
• Reporting to the National Payroll Manager you will work collaboratively to maintain a culture of high performance and continuous improvement to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines

Kronos Project: Hourly rate is approximately $60 per hour. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
