Are you an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist we have MicrOpay who is in need of a Project Contractor for 3-to-6-month period as they transition to our Definitiv Software.  

General Duties Include:

• Assist in ensuring data from legacy MicrOpay system is correct when provided to the Definitiv project
• Assist in continuity for MicrOpay for a replicated environment (as the project relates to separating existing businesses) to potentially execute a small number of payruns before Definitiv cutover
• Provide inputs into Definitiv implementation, act as internal domain expert, execute pays and provide upskilling to internal team members
• Act as a quality reviewer for payroll reporting and compliance and assist in setting up policies and procedures
• Help with the expansion of services beyond payroll to full Definitiv HRIS functions
• Documentation and improvement of payroll processes and procedures.

Skills and experience:

• 5 years+ of payroll experience
• Experience in interpreting awards and enterprise agreements
• Extensive Payroll knowledge
• High level of attention to detail & accuracy
