Are you looking for a career change or new role? We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. No prior payroll experience is necessary, but we do seek someone with a keen willingness to learn, a high level of attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive team environment and is looking to develop their skills in a dynamic workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete payroll process from start to finish - don't worry we will train you!
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all payroll activities, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation.
• Provide support within the business for payroll-related queries.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and practices.
• Develop an understanding of relevant awards and agreements affecting payroll.
• Stay updated with changes in payroll-related laws, awards, and collective agreements to ensure compliance.

About You

You are highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and develop into a Payroll Specialist together with:

• You possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Your customer service skills are excellent, and you are friendly and approachable.
• You are a strong team player and communicator who values collaboration.
• You have a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
• You are adept at interpreting data and understanding complex information.
• Prior experience in payroll is not required, but an interest in learning about payroll and HR legislation is crucial.
