Join our Team as a Payroll Officer at MCRI!
The opportunity:
MCRI is seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join our friendly team and contribute to the smooth running of the payroll function which sits within the broader finance team. We are responsible for managing 2200 fortnightly paid employees spanning two legal entities.
As a Payroll Officer at MCRI, you will be a vital member of our payroll team, collaborating under the guidance of the experienced Payroll Manager. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of data processing and addressing inquiries with precision. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within our organisation, as comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the skills needed for success in this critical service delivery role.

Your responsibilities include:
- Assist in various components of the end-to-end payroll processing including:
- Processing changes to employees master file
- Processing payroll deductions (salary packaging etc)
- End of months reporting: GL reports, leave reports, master file reports, HR related data reports
- Salary Packaging reporting to external provider
- PAYG reconciliations and payment
About you:
- Proven hands-on payroll experience
- Experienced in operating modern payroll systems (SAP knowledge beneficial but not essential)
- Ability to extract payroll data into required format for various stakeholders (typically Excel)
- Current knowledge of payroll procedures required to support end-to-end payroll processing
- Understanding of multi-assignments payroll
