Our client is a national, fast paced business with a wide range of service offerings across the country. Due their success and future expansion plans they are seeking to hire an experienced Payroll Supervisor to support them along this exciting journey.
This role will work in an outgoing and pro-active team and provide end-to-end payroll services for a large multisite organisation.
About the Role
Supporting the Financial Controller and managing a small payroll team, key accountabilities include:
- End-to-end payroll for a large multisite, multi-state workforce with numerous awards and EBA's;
- Manage all Superannuation, PAYG Withholding Tax, Single Touch Payroll and payroll deduction payments;
- Driving systems changes/ upgrades and associated reporting;
- Maintaining employee records and updating all data related to the payroll function.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and awards interpretation; and
- Ad hoc duties as directed by the Financial Controller.
You will ideally possess the following:
- At least 3 years + experience as a Senior Payroll Officer within a medium-large organisation with complex awards
- Previous experience with high-volume end-to-end payroll;
- Strong Systems & Excel skills with the ability to make enhancements as required
- Demonstrated pro-active style and approach to problem solving and stakeholder engagement
- Self-drive to work autonomously as required and use your initiative to add value;
- Ability to mentor and add warmth to a hard-working team.
