Payroll System Administrator (Chris 21)

The Organisation

Our client is an ASX listed business that continue to grow and provide outstanding opportunities to their staff. They are on the lookout for a Chris21 System Administrator to assist the payroll team with maintaining the system and to ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of related payroll records whilst adhering to the relevant statutory legislation and company Policies and Procedures.
Position description
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for

• Identifying and implementing operational efficiencies where relevant
• Ensuring a high level of data integrity is maintained at all times
• Implement and maintaining the reporting function
• Ensuring Payroll Systems remain fully operational at key processing and reporting times
• Identifying issues and fixing defects in the system
• Business partner with Payroll & Finance teams on Payroll best practices
• Data cleansing, maintenance and manipulation using SQL
• Update and maintain training and technical documentation and manuals
• Setting up standardised reports
• As well as any adhoc duties such as creating reports in report designer

The successful applicant will have

• Prior experience in a System Admin role, or alternatively a system savvy senior payroll professional
• Previous experience with iChris / Chris21 is essential
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail including prioritising and organising workload
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work well under pressure
• Confident when dealing with stakeholders both internal and external
• Able to take initiative and accountability for assigned task
