About the roleThe Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of functional business processes in accordance with the Service Level Agreements aligned with Kraft Heinz Australia and New Zealand business stakeholders. The role will work in partnership with third party Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners to identify and drive process improvement initiatives to boost performance and business results. This will involve, but not be limited to payroll execution and accuracy, coaching and support of our BPO partners, escalation management from internal stakeholders, cross-functional collaboration on larger payroll opportunities. This role is a 2 year fixed-term role with the potential to extend! Customer Centric Operational Stability:Responsible for Payroll accuracy and improvement initiatives to ensure our people are consistently paid the right amounts at the right timesWork closely with our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners to coach and train the broader HTR team on core fundamentals and continuous improvement opportunitiesWork with our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team to prioritise managing Payroll queriesProvide support in resolving exceptional cases related to payroll and post payroll matters, including Payroll Tax and Superannuation administrationFirst point of escalation for Kraft Heinz on Payroll mattersManage open balance sheet reconciliations and clearances in partnership with Kraft Heinz Finance department and with support from Manager, HTR ANZ Stakeholder Collaboration:Drive Payroll improvements in partnership with Kraft Heinz Finance department and with support from Manager, HTR ANZLiaise between GBS and Kraft Heinz on Service Level Agreements and Reverse Service Level Agreements and drive action plans to improve performance on both sidesDrive Service Performance Management reviews between business and GBS and improve reporting with GBS team Process Improvement:Ensure process documentation is updated frequently to reflect current standard operating procedures in compliance with Kraft Heinz policies and controlsWork closely with Global process owners and teams to understand root causes and represent process procedures, practicalities, and exceptionsTranslate payroll targets into action plans for GBS to drive improvementSupport project and technology implementations including Payroll Consolidation, T&A system enhancements, SAP S/4 Hana, and other digital solutionsReview and analyse reporting from broader GBS teamsApply understanding of assigned business process to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures About youBachelor’s degree is requiredUnderstanding of Hire to Retire and Payroll processesExperience in Payroll and/or Payroll Compliance areas with a background in Accounting, HR, Payroll or similarExperience working in an operational capacity within GBS/Shared Services is preferredExperience working with BPO, or offshore teams is highly preferredExperience operating in matrix and complex set upsEligibility to work in Australia/New Zealand BenefitsHybrid Working- flexibility around when and where you work.Gatherings - monthly drinks & nibbles- End of Year Celebration.Wellbeing - annual health checks & flu shots- onsite wellbeing sessions & webinars.Volunteering – volunteer days with Foodbank- meal packing events for our Global partner Rise Against Hunger.Parental Leave - 12 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers.In-house training programs - Access to our online learning platform, Ownerversity for continuous learning and development.Career Development - Opportunity to be mentored by excellent leaders and have on-the-job skill development and coaching.Cultural Leave - Two days paid leave per calendar year for the purpose of fulfilling or observing religious, ceremonial or culturally significant days.
