About the team
Corporate Servicesteams at Metro are responsible for providing essential support services that enable the business to function efficiently and effectively. From Safety and People, Marketing and Communication, to Finance and Legal, and IT. Our Corporate Services teams work collaboratively to ensure that the business operates smoothly and as one team.
We have two amazing opportunities for experienced Payroll Systems Administrators to join the wider Payroll team at Metro Trains Melbourne. These roles will play an integral role to ensure that all payroll data and system maintenance are running efficiently. You will provide knowledge and expertise around system configuration, data validation which will include uploads and extracts in the system.
About the role
- Maintain the functional configuration within the Payroll Systems to ensure that it is compliant with relevant legislation such as tax and superannuation
- Manage the upload of time and attendance data from our roster system Roster On and support with bulk entry payments and timesheet entries into the system
- You’ll be a SME within the payroll system environment providing recommendations on enhancements, logging tickets and reviewing all release notes and system configurations
- Manage and support the scheduled EBA pay increase process including all the preparation of data for approvals being loading into the ADP
- Evaluate requirements and make recommendations in respect to best practice work methods and techniques.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process and system enhancements.
About you
- Extensive experience within HR/Payroll Systems Administrator
- Demonstrated experience in Payroll systems and processes.
- Experience using either SAP SuccessFactors, ADP Pay Force or Roster On is advantageous but not essential
- Proven experience in ensuring legislative compliance within payroll and/or HR information systems.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Agreements and workforce legislation.
- Proven systems, process and reporting capability
- An experienced analyst who is curious, open minded and up to date with current employment and data trends.
- Proven capability of working with integrated systems and being able to provide insights through reporting.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and managing workload well to achieve deadlines.
Ability to schedule and communicate work priorities
