The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes for 4 payroll officers, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.

- Lead and manage the Payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
- Oversee payroll operations, including payroll calculations, deductions, taxes, and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on payroll processes and systems.
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Payroll, with previous leadership experience and the ability to manage a team.
- Comprehensive understanding of Modern Awards and payroll legislation.
- Strong communication, organisation, and planning skills.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll and time & attendance systems (MYOB PayGlobal, Time2Work, PageUp).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
